Radio was Justin Spears' first love when entering the sports journalism industry. The air waves have been a part of his life ever since he was a play-by-play announcer for the Cienega High School men's basketball team from 2012-2013 and then began as a weekly host on KAMP 1570 AM (UA campus radio station).

 

Justin's show On The Ball had guests such as UA quarterback Brandon Dawkins, ESPN's Jeff Goodman, Arizona Daily Star's Bruce Pascoe, ESPN Tucson's Zach Clark, Chicago Bears running back Ka'Deem Carey, Brandon 'Scoop B' Robinson from CBS and Respect Magizine and the executive director of the Nova Home Loans Arizona Bowl Mike Feder.

In the summer of 2015, Spears was announced sports director of KAMP Student Radio and also interned at ESPN Tucson editing clips with Adobe Audition and help producing content. For samples, click on the sub tabs under radio samples.
